Sensor data fusion for banknote processingProject Description
Within a three-year collaborative research project between
Giesecke+Devrient GmbH and the chair for pattern recognition new
algorithms shall be developed.
Banknotes are automatically checked and classified by taking images of a
banknote with different sensors. The aim of the project is to improve
the classification performance and robustness by developing novel
approaches to the fusion of the sensor data.
