• CATEYE- computer automated detection of eye diseases

  We focus our efforts to automatically classify retina images in the project CATEYE. My research focus are appearanced based algorithms in this context. Methods to segment physiological structures like the optic nerve head or the vessel tree are also used.

  In cooperation with the Augenklinik Erlangen two modalities of acquisition are mainly used. Color fotos of the retina are obtained by the Kowa fundus camera:
