The main research area I am working on is medical image processing within radiotherapy. A major problem in radiotherapy today are tumors in the thorax and abdomen area. Due to respiratory motion, organs and tumors are moving up to a few centimeters during radiotherapy.

The objective of my work is to improve processes within a radiotherapy workflow in general and in the field of tumor movement in particular.
