The Pattern Recognition Lab was successful in a second EFI Project. A project consortium of medical experts, medical physicists, and computer scientists (Prof. Krönke, Prof. Nagel, Prof. Bäuerle, PD Dr. Römer, Dr. Pachowsky, Dr. Kleyer, Prof. Sonnewald, Dr. Hofmann, Prof. Maier) joins forces to bring high-field MRI to the next level for bone imaging. In MIRACLE, we aim to develop improved standard of care for inflammatory musculoskeletal diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, or osteoarthritis.
