07.05.2019 - 13:37 Ronak Kosti started working with the Pattern Recognition Lab (PRL) as a Researcher for the EFI (Emerging Fields Initiative) funded project 'ICONOGRAPHICS'. This project focuses on computational understanding of paintings and artworks in digital humanities (Christian Archaeology, Classical Archaeology and Art History). Before joining PRL, he was a PhD candidate at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (Spain). His doctoral thesis is based on emotion recognition of people in different scene contexts. He received his masters degree in machine intelligence from DA-IICT (India). His master thesis was based on depth estimation with single image, using artificial neural networks. His areas of interest are computer vision, affective computing and machine learning. |
