InformARTik: Technology, Art and Communication

The SKT

Overview

The aim of this work is to reduce influences of examiners at psychometric tests for the example of the "Syndrom-Kurztest" (SKT).

This means to increase the intersubjective conformance of the examiners by acquiring validity increasing variables with the help of multimodal sensors. Microphones, Eyetracker or Touch-Screen monitors are examples for such sensors. Particularly with regard to diagnosis and therapy control of age-related diseases, e.g. dementia, the measurement of cognitive impairments takes on an increasingly significant role.

Within informARTik, it is investigated, whether an interactive test system for the measurement of cognitive impairments can be realized which is appropriate for the use in the field of telemedicine and which can be independently used by the patient. Basis for this investigation is the SKT, which is an international validated performance test for assessing deficits of memory and attention.
