Praktikum Representation Learning [PRL]Summary
The goal of this pracatical course is to familiarize the students with the
overall pipeline of a Pattern Recognition System. The various steps involved
in the traditional pattern recognition pipeline including data preprocessing,
feature extraction, and classification are presented and compared with modern
deep learning approaches.
The course alternates between theoretical lectures and practical exercises,
where the theoretical concepts will be implemented in Python, and applied to
real-world applications regarding speech and image processing.
